13, 2006 - New England Bruins' long time partners, Verizon
Wireless, hosted a softball event at Fenway Park on Wednesday morning.
Several Verizon Wireless employees who had won a sales contest got the rare
privilege of playing a game of softball on the field at Fenway Park. And to
add to the thrill, Boston Bruin legends, Rick Middleton and Ray Bourque were
on hand to captain the teams and participate in the game. Following the
game, the participants took a tour of Fenway Park and had lunch in the Crown
Royal Club.
Verizon Wireless is a long term sponsor of the New England Bruins Sled Hockey Program, entering their third season of the partnership in 2006.
