November 11, 2006 - On Veteran's Day, the New England Bruins salute America's 25 million living Veterans and honor the memories of those who made the ultimate sacrifice so Americans may enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. As Americans we have the freedom and right to express our own opinions and politics and to engage in public debate. We may disagree on many things, but let us not forget that the freedoms we take for granted are only possible because of the courage of our brave men and women of the United States Armed Services who steadfastly defend our country against all enemies.
The New England Bruins are honored to have Veterans Bill Smith, Jerry Badalucco, George Treantafel, Jeff Knox, Bob McGarry, and Mike Geary associated with our program.
